SM—GLITCH / CAPTURE. FRACTURE. PERFORM.
Glitch
Make the moment misbehave.
Turn a riff into a malfunction worth repeating. Glitch grabs
the moment and twists it into fractured grooves, rhythmic
bursts, and backwards phrases. Freeze it. Flip it. Push it
past familiar. Your next riff starts where the last one breaks.
DRIFTBURSTREVERSE
NAM FUZZ + PITCH
For players who want the guitar to misbehave.
Turn palm-muted riffs into machinery and sustained notes
into fractured loops. Add neural fuzz, shift the pitch, then
let a DRIFT tail hang over your next riff. Play it with your
feet as much as your hands.
-
DRIFT: Freeze and rearrange captured audio.
Slice, reverse,
retrigger, and pitch the fragments.
-
BURST: Hold a fragment and send it into
rhythmic stutters, accelerating rolls, microloops, and
occasional reverse fragments.
-
REVERSE: Play live guitar backwards in
successive one-pass phrases.
-
NAM FUZZ: Push the drive for extra weight
and attitude, or turn FUZZ to zero for a clean path.
-
PITCH: Shift your live signal, captured
fragments, and release tails after the effects.
-
ARTIFACT + TAIL: Rough up DRIFT with
bitcrushing, sample hold, and bit folding, then let its
captured trail spill over fresh guitar.

Six hands-on controls: ARTIFACT, PARAM, RATE, PITCH, FUZZ,
and TAIL. Hold TRIGGER to perform with DRIFT, BURST, or
REVERSE; release it to return to your playing. BYPASS sits
under your other foot.
BURST spans 1/4 to 1/64 rhythmic divisions. REVERSE turns
successive 300–650 ms windows of live input backwards.
DRIFT release tails range from 0.1 to 6 seconds, leaving
space for the next phrase while the captured sound fades.
